The Efficacy of Seven Wellspring Resources in Cibulan

Cibulan is a tourist area in Kuningan - West Java. In tourist areas there are seven springs (water source) are believed to have various properties; could provide some benefits if we drink and wash our faces in the spring.

Seven Springs is channeled through the bamboo shower each having its own name, namely:

1. Victorious well, believed to help to get the succes
2. Glory well,
3. Granted Well, we wish to come true
4. Cirancana well, plans to launch the desired
5. Cisadane well,
6. Ease well, facilitate the road
7. Safety well, provide safety

Among the seven wells, it was reportedly one of the wells containing the Golden Crab, which is locate on well Cirancana. If there are people who are lucky and can see the manifestation of the Golden Crab, then all wishes will come true.

Seven springs were located around “petilasan” said to be rest place of Siliwangi King when here stay on his return from the war of Bubat. Petilasan was a stone structure like a statue menhir and two striped tiger (symbol of the greatness of the Great Pajajaran King). Seven wells and petilasan Siliwangi King is often visited by people to make pilgrimages, especially on Friday evenings or during the month of Maulud Kliwon of Hijri calendar. They believe that the water in the place will be a blessing and may grant their request.
